Today is National Random Acts of Kindness Day. Much like Valentine’s Day, it shouldn’t take a dedicated day of the year to celebrate love and kindness.
So, we’re happy to be celebrating kindness today and the entire month of February!
That’s why two local organizations, BESA and The Columbus Foundation, have teamed together and dedicated the entire month as Columbus Kindness Month. Check out this website to learn more about ways that you can participate in sharing kindness within our amazing community: https://medium.com/columbus-kindness-month.
You can also join FPN on Thursday, March 2nd, from 6:30-7:30pm at Indianola Informal School (251 E Weber Rd. Columbus, OH 43202) for a Town Hall discussion about “Advancing Kindness in the Community”.
One of the greatest lessons that we can teach our children is to be kind to others. Let’s take a moment today – and everyday – to lead by example.
In peace & equality,
