They think it’s time to renew their vows and wed in their home state! Their journey to parenthood was long, and at times overwhelming and exhausting. They have been blessed now with 3 children. Two children conceived via insemination, with Missy getting pregnant, and one child via IVF (in vitro fertilization) where Leslie’s biological eggs were removed, fertilized, and then implanted into Missy; and Missy carried for Leslie. Through their journey, they have had many experiences and understand the process gay and lesbian women go through.
Missy joined Family Pride Network in an effort to be part of the conversation, support and encouragement for other prospective parents embarking on their own journey towards parenthood. Missy and Leslie are excited to have a community to grow with and be around, for their children.

After moving back to Columbus after graduating, Kyle met his now husband, Tom. They married in 2013 in New York. Kyle and Tom always had a strong desire to be parents, and relied upon resources and events provided by FPN as they started their path to parenthood. In March of 2016, they fulfilled that wish to become parents when they adopted their daughter, Regan.
Kyle has worked and volunteered within the medical industry for years, namely volunteering for some time with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, reading and playing board/video games with children admitted for extended periods of time. He looks forward to serving with FPN in the hopes of providing the same resources that helped him along the way to his path to parenthood, as well as continuing to provide more community to those already with families.
